Vintage Love

Hello everyone! Just a note of thanks for all of the kind comments you leave....I read each one and feel a tremendous amount of thanks. The crafting community is truly a supportive one! My latest card follows the Just Neutrals challenge from The Shabby Tea Room.

You are asked to create a card or project inspired by the NEUTRALS COLORS from the photo AND INCLUDE RIBBON/TWINE and a SENTIMENT!

I had an idea of where I wanted to go with my card but needed a focal image. I downloaded one from Far Far Hill.  I liked the look of the Vintage lady, so elegant and poised and I built up everything around her.

I die cut an intricate frame. I also had some metallic frames that I thought would look great to accomodate my sentiment.

I added some flowers and a bow. I also used a silver brad to tie in with the silver frame.  I found these wonderful bead/pearl sprays at Spotlight which I later added to my flowers.

Supplies:

Paper: Stampin' Up! very vanilla, DCWV pastel stack, My Minds Eye Miss Caroline

Ink: Distress ink old paper, Versafine vintage sepia

Stamp: BoBunny enchanted

Image: Far Far Hill

Other: Spellbinders nestabilities romantic rectangles and classic ovals large, Cre8tive frame, Prima arcadian collection rosy, Hooked on Craft flowers, Vivaldi pearl circle with leaf branche, Stampin' Up! very vanilla seam binding and filigree brad, lace and Distrezz it all.

Thanks for stopping by!
