Hello everyone! Today I have a quick card to share with you. It follows the latest sketch from Mojo Monday.
What drove my card were the papers. I used The London Market papers from Pink Paislee. I have them for a little while and just love them. I love the vintage feel of the prints and I wanted to showcase them as much as possible.
I love the floral print paper, so I used it in the frame. I added some flowers next to it to compliment the papers. I used some foam tape to add dimension, to this print. I also used distress ink around the edges of everything as well.
My sentiment is simply this....
Supplies:
Paper: Pink Paislee London Market, SU! Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla
Other: Magnolia Rose Leaf Die, Spellbinders back to Basics Tags, Sizzix Fancy Frame Rectangle, Martha Stewart Embroidery Punch, Kaisercraft Blooms Dusty Pink and Mini paper Blooms Dusty Pink, Kaisercraft Pearls Latte, Hug Snug Seam Binding Lyric Rose, Green Tara Rose Buds.
Hello friends! It's Cathy here today and I'm so excited to share with you my second mini album using The Sherlock Book kit. This mini album uses paper bags, LOTS of paper which enables you to fill it with lots of photos, embellishments, journalling and memories.
To help you get started, I have supplied a list of measurements for the album, to make things easier for you as well as a start to finish video tutorial to help you along the way. My second video is a walk through of the completed album to give you ideas on how you can start to embellish your album. I used stamping as a way of personalising my album. These papers are so versatile that you can use your stamps to start your album in the theme/direction of your choice.
I was inspired by My Sisters Scrapper and followed one of her tutorials for the construction of this album. The decorations/embellishments are my style!
Here I have used some stamps to add some spaces to journal.....they are interactive as well....
The album has flaps that fold out, giving more space for photos etc. Again stamps have been used for embellishments.
This is a page with a photo mat....

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share with you a birthday card that I have made for a very dear friend of mine. He always appreciates the cards that I make for him and I hope he likes this one!
I used some mixed media techniques for the background. I used some distressed inks and a Tim Holtz stencil.I grunged up a clock frame. I added some crackle paints and cut out the centre part as I wanted to do some layering.
My sentiment is actually the ticket..... I also used some Bo Bunny stamps and some die cuts to embellish.
Supplies:
Paper: Maja Designs Vintage Autumn Basics
Stamps: Tim Holtz Odds and Ends, Ultimate Grunge and Spills and Platters. Bo Bunny Weekend Market and Stitiches.
Hello everyone! It seems like ages since I've made a card as I have been busy creating mini albums. The card I am sharing with you follows the current sketch over at Mojo Monday.
I used some JustRite Stampers stamps today. I stamped them onto SU! watercolour paper and coloured the image in using SU! Stampin' Write markers and blended them using a SU! blender pen. Once complete I used the matching die and propped it up using some foam tape for some dimension.
I love the vintage feel of the Maja Design papers and had a lot of fun creating with them today. I fussy cut one of the little butterflies and added it in as I love butterflies!
