Gypsy Rose Cards

Hello everyone! School is back and I have been very busy getting things started. I had a lovely break but cannot believe how quickly the holidays went. I have been struggling to get back into a routine and am implementing new things into my classroom and of course it all takes time! Anyway, right before this month is over I am sharing the last of my Gypsy Rose projects which are two cards. They are featured in the July magazine.

I have really enjoyed creating the boho inspired projects which this collection enables.

This is a quick post, the supplies plus the instructions can be found over on the Kaisercraft website.

Have a great day!

Happiness is a Journey

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a special layout with you. It is of a when I went to Canada and yes, I am an Anne fan! I was thrilled to have spent time at Prince Edward Island and went to look at Green Gables. Going on the tour there and taking a trillion photos, I was happy beyond belief. Art Foam Flowers Tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great week. I have been playing with some art foam, and I came up with some different ways of creating flowers using one die.
These three flowers were created using only two petals. But by making one alteration, three different flowers were created.
The above flower uses the largest petal from the die, die cut three times. It was shaped by scrunching the tops and embellished by using stamens in the centre.
The final two flowers use the smaller petal from the die. Their construction is the same except for the shaping of the petals.
Another variation of flower from DIY Flora Gerbera die.

Below is a video tutorial explaining how each of these flowers was made.

Once you have created these beautiful flowers, it's always wonderful to incorporate them into your projects.
