Favourite Adventure

Hello everyone. I hope that you are having a great week. Today I am sharing a layout that is based upon the path and the story behind the photo. My cousin's twin boys walk to day care which is very close to their home and this is the path they travel along. I have created a grungy interpretation of their walk using the papers and embellishments from the Workshop collection.
I started by using a stencil and inking it up in random places to add some texture.

I have ripped papers to create the path, and added even more grunge by adding strips of ripped papers on top. I don't glue to the edge, I leave my options open so that I can add embellishments underneath later on if I want to.
I chose elements from the collectables that represented learning, play and a bit of grunge.
I always read the quotes on the paper strips and this one was perfect. Twins have a special bond and this really connected with the photo.

If you would like to create this layout, please stop by the Kaisercraft blog where you can download the full instructions including the products I have used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
