Cross Stitch Pillows

Good morning everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a project which is one of my my finishes, that I had been planning to do for a while and can check of my list as complete! I completed two of Lori Holt stitch card  Set I series. As you know, I love cottages and houses, so I had to stitch one.

To finish the back, I used some fabric from my stash and also some adhesive lace which I adhered using hot glue.

I used the DMC colours in the pattern and stitched it on 14 Count Rustico Aida.

I have more of her stitch cards and am not sure which I will stitch next. They are just beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tissue Pom Pom Tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I had planned to share this post a few days ago, but unfortuately my computer had the blue screen of death error! Luckily the computer technician was able to fix the problem and I am able to use my computer once again!!

I have created a video tutorial demonstrating how to make the easiest tissue pom pom, using a tissue, scissors and a paper clip- that's it! I also show you how easy it is to use the pom pom to make a quick and easy banner. Enjoy!

Cross Stitch Cottage

Happy New Year! I hope that you have had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. Today I am sharing a project which I started a while a go and was determined to finish during the school holidays. One of my goals is to complete my projects that I have started but not finished (my PHD - projects half done!) I love cottages, and over the years, I have made cottages with paper crafts in various forms.

This pattern is from Fat Quarter Shop. I used DMC threads and fabric and ribbons from my stash. The board is from Kmart. I also purchased a floral spray from Kmart, cut it apart and hot glued it to the top of my project.
