Paper Dress Card

Hello everyone. I have had a fantastic day at the Stitches and Craft Show at Rosehill Gardens racecourse today. Lots of looking and shopping (work funds the fun stuff)! I made this card last night. It follows the latest challenge from The Shabby Tea Room. You are asked to create a card or project inspired by photo using WHITE PLUS ONE OTHER COLOR AND INCLUDE A FRAME!

Lately I have been taken by dressforms and a little while ago I created a easel card box that featured a paper dress, and I thought it would be fun to make one again.

I traced the paper template and then cut out a rectanglar piece from my paper. The template is from Kell Belle Studio and you can find the template here. The dimensions for my dress were determined by my frame. The beauty of this template is that you can reduce the size on your computer to make it perfect for your card/project. My frame is a lovely Spellbinders opulent ovals die. I used the largest two for my frame, and applied foam tape to add dimension between the layers.

I added some cheese cloth to my flower cluster, to add some softness. I also added it to the paper dress as well.

I used a Memory Box die here to add some elegance to my sentiment, along with some flowers.
Supplies:

Paper: Kaisercraft ballet, Pastel paper Basics

Ink: Walnut stain and antique linen distress inks

Stamp: JustRite Stampers You're So Sweet

Other: Spellbinders opulent ovals and standard circles large, Memory Box elegant scrollwork, Martha Stewart doily lace punch, Kaisercraft pearls and mini paper bloom, Hooked on Craft flowers, Hug Snug lyric rose seam binding, lace and cheese cloth.

Thanks for stopping by!
