Kaisercraft ~ Holly Bright Collection ~

Hello everyone. I am back today to share two projects that I have created using the Holly Bright Collection from Kaisercraft. After looking through the paper pad, I selected papers that look traditional, as I like vintage styled Christmas cards.

The central element has many layers. I punched along the edge of 12" cream cardstock with a border punch and cut it so that it measures 1". I used my Scor-Pal to create the creases needed to make my rosette. I inked it to age it, along with the paper doily. I cut Spellbinders Venetian Motifs twice, once onto kraft cardstock and again onto cream cardstock. I used gold embossing powder to colour the cardstock before gluing it to the kraft card. I also used one of the clear stamps from the collection and again used the same gold embossing powder to colour it.
I knew I wanted some bling on my card and it comes in the form of my beads. I reinforced the Venetian Motif for this purpose. I have collected beads etc for a little while and love adding them to projects.

For my layout, I wanted it to appear that my elements were ornaments on a wall. To fill in some spaces, I added some Christmas foliage.
