Tutorial ~ Loom Flowers~

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share with you how to create a loom flower. You can also find this information over on the Kaisercraft blog. This flower is so versatile. With practise, you'll be able to create pretty flowers to enhance your projects.

To create your loom flower select a trim.

To create the petals of your flower, secure your trim onto your loom. Wind your trim around the posts in a clockwise direction. Once, completed you will continue this all the way round your loom as shown.

To create the centre of your flower I have selected a contrasting colour. You can use the same colour if you wish.

Thread a blunt darning needle and insert from the bottom of your loom through the centre of your flower.

Thread your needle through the centre of a petal (the gap between a post) and pull the thread down. Again thread your needle through the centre of your flower and thread the needle down through the centre of the petal to the right of the one you just completed.

Repeat this around the entire loom and you will see a satin stitch centre. Thread all loose ends and tie off on the back. You can now release your flower from the loom.

You can add flowers or pretty centres to your loom flowers.

Try making one. You will see the many possibilities this flower can bring to your projects.
