Wandering Ivy Mini Album

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I am so thrilled that we had some rain this week. I just hope that those who need it most (the farmers) have been as blessed as we have in the cities and have received a few drops. Hopefully our prayers have been heard and this will have happened.

I took the opportunity to make an album for fun. I am keeping it as a gift for Christmas time in the hope that I will have someone to gift it to. I selected the Wandering Ivy Collection from Kaisercraft because I just love it. It's vintage, has beautiful floral elements and I just adore the muted tones it offers. I also used my paper Dream templates from Jen of Eve Designs to create this album as well.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the album.

Below is a video walkthrough of the album, explaining how I created my album.

Supplies:

Kaisercraft Wandering Ivy Collection, Jen of Eve Designs Paper Dreams, Prima Crochet Doily, Die-namics Pierced traditional tag stax and Wild Orchid Cfrafts Flowers.

Shabby Chic File Folder Mini Album

Hello everyone! Today I have a file folder album to share with you, using the journal papers from the Watercolour Garden Collection. These papers have various beautiful prints, which you will see during this blog post. When I first viewed these papers I was going to create a planner or pages for a planner.....but then I came across these beautiful file folders and loved the concept more. There are several tutorials on Youtube at the moment but the one I liked the most is found here.

I really wanted to showcase the papers in this album, so the pages are very simple. I utilised the ephemera to create journalling spots. Left over manilla card was used to create tags and flips in the album.

I used my We 'R Memories Keepers envelope punch board to create tabs in the album, to define each section of the album.

Extra pockets enable spaces for mini books, tags and other photos.

Adding lace, ribbon and washi tape adds to shabby chic/vintage feel.

Enjoy the video below of the walkthrough of the completed album.

I traveled to places that I have always wanted to go to and feel blessed that I had the opportunity to do so. While on my trip, the break from everyday life, helped me recharge and find some creativity that I had lost this year. I decided to make a mini album for some of my photos and finally I can share this with you. I have a video walk through below that I can share with you as well.

Manilla Folder Mini Album plus a tutorial~ Meg's Garden

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Recently I have been interested in finding projects to create that are time effective. At work, I often hear that you need to 'work smart not hard' in terms of time management. We are all time poor, yet we always have to 'do more.' I found some mini albums on the internet that looked interesting and I am so excited to be able to share this one with you. This album is constructed with a manilla folder and I made and decorated the entire album in one evening!

This is the inside of the album. I modified the manilla folder to accommodate the mini papers from the French Garden Collection. As you can see, there are pockets filled with ephemera and cut aparts from the collection. There is also room to fit in photos and other personal items that you may wish to add.

I also decorated the back of the album. You could leave it plain or it provides another place to add photos.

This really is an easy album to construct. I have a video tutorial for you so that you too, can create your own. With just one manilla folder you can create a mini album in a relatively short amount of time. Once you see how easy it is, I'm sure you'll start making your own and adapting the dimensions to suit your purpose.
