Vintage Mini Album in a Case

Hello everyone! Today I have a mini album to share with you. I have been wanting to create an album to use up paper....mini albums are a great way of doing that. I have so much of this beautiful paper which is The Curiosity Collection from Kaisercraft. I also wanted to make a mini album that folded out. Alexandra shared a tutorial on how to make a mini album suitcase. I adapted it slightly and kept it simple as it is eight pages in total. This is also constructed using envelopes. I am also sharing a video walkthrough below. It's a great album to make and I love how it stands up so easily!

Home Decor

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share something a little bit different. While I've been recuperating, I decided to work on some techniques that I've been wanting to do for some time. I have wanted to work on copic marker colouring as well as colouring with distress markers. I also hoped that along the way I would find my Mojo! To help me with this process, I enrolled in an online class which if you are interested, the link is here.

As I was busy colouring, I found this frame at The Reject Shop. I decided that I would display my pictures in and display in in my classroom for the children to see.

Here are some close ups...

As I have been working on these images on and off over the last two weeks, I have had a lot of fun! Using the frame has really made a difference.

Supplies:

Stamps: Altenew Persian Motifs, Gorjuss New Heights, Kaisercraft Butterflies, Tim Holtz Simple Sayings, Digital Stamps free from the internet, Digital Stamps from the on line class (see link above)

Ink: Distress inks

Paper: Strathmore Watercolor Paper, Neenah Crest Solar White

Copic Markers

Thank You

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing some thank you cards that I made last year. I had five parent helpers who assisted in my class throughout the year. I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire who shared a tutorial on mass producing cards using the MISTI. You can watch her tutorial here. I also fell in love with the Altenew stamps which she used in her demonstration...vintage and roses... I practised stamping the roses and I can say it does take practise and managed to create five cards in one night. I had the same design for each, but just changed the papers.

I used Maja Design Enjoying Outdoors Collection and each card still looks unique! The MISTI tool is expensive but is certainly worth the investment...particularly for layered stamping and also for mass producing cards.
