Birthday Card Ideas

Stuck for some card ideas? Look no further. Here are two birthday cards that use dies, flowers and gorgeous papers from the With Love Collection. Handmade cards always give any recipient joy and a feeling of how special they are. Having cards in your stash ready to go is always a bonus!

To showcase the birthday greeting, I framed it with some handmade flowers which I made using Kaisercraft artfoam. I also added some pearls to accent the frame which is detailed. The coloured collectables are a great addition of adding layers and details to any creation.

If you would like to create these flowers, click here to view the full tutorial.

This card has a similar design as the previous except by changing some of the elements, it has a completely different look. The frame was created by using glitter cardstock. The birthday wishes stamp was accented with the glitter and once again the glitter was used as one of the mats.

I hope that today you have some ideas and some inspiration of how you can create some birthday cards to give or to have in your stash, ready to have on hand for that special someone when they are celebrating a birthday.

If you would like to purchase any of the products from this collection, be sure to visit your local stockist or visit the Kaisercraft online store.

Two Cards ~ Miss Betty Collection ~ Kaisercraft

Hello everyone! Today I have two cards to share with you using the Miss Betty Collection. Over on the Kaisercraft blog, the DT was asked to create cards and I got a bit carried away this collection. I love dress forms and I haven't made one in ages. The papers in this collection have a feminine and have a subtle sewing theme and I just thought that this focal image was perfect!

I also incorporated a lovely vintage rectangular die which is also released this month as part of my design in this card.

My second card is a side step card. I really focused on the sewing theme for this card.
This could be used a a little display in your craft room!
