Hello everyone! I hope that you are keeping well. Today I am sharing another Christmas card and it features Harvey by Tim Holtz. I was so excited when I saw this die as I love the nutcracker and I think this die is perfect! It is part of the Sizzix colorize range so it in theory shouldn't be difficult to construct.

Once I had everything cut out, I inked the edges using distress ink using a sponge dauber to give it an vintage look. Then I went through my stash and pulled out a series of dies and went from there. I loved My Memory Box tree die so I used it again as the scale was perfect with Harvey and I used an old Kaisercraft presents die.

To finish it off, I die cut an oldie but a goodie Spellbinders oval die and inked it with antique linen distress ink and a blending brush to get that aged look. I made my poinsettia and glued everything into place.

Layered Christmas Card

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am catching up on a blog post to share two cards that I made a little while ago for my friends (they already have their cards!) Now that I am on holidays and am starting to feel semi-normal, I have the energy to do more things that now and a bit of mojo to share things again!! I am wanting to use some things in my stash and I pulled out my beautiful Maja Design papers and a Tim Holtz colorize die that I ordered this year and created two cards.

I used a slimline card format as my card base and I created my own envelope using patterned paper. I used Kaisercraft cardstock to die cut the elements from the die. Having muted colours assisted in created the vintage look that I love.

For my second card, I used patterned paper from the collection to die cut the elements to create the scene.

For both cards, I used a Tim Holtz seasons greeting die set to create my sentiment.

Supplies: Maja Design A Gift For You Collection, Tim Holtz Seasons Greetings 660058 and Colorize Holiday Village 664737

For my friends in NSW take good care during these next few days. If we follow the health advice, this outbreak will be contained and we will be able to enjoy the festive season (hopefully!!)

To everyone else, take very good care.

Thanks for stopping by
