On Top of the World

Happy New Year! This is my first post of the year and I can't believe how quickly the time has passed. I have been busy updating my study...five days of constructing IKEA furniture and sorting out my teaching resources and finally it was complete. So now that is done I can start up some crafting again!

Today I am sharing a card that I have made using a stamp that has been in my stash for a while. I haven't done any type of colouring and felt that it was time. I used distress markers and really enjoyed the process. I am playing along in the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge where you are invited to be square.

Supplies:

Paper: Maja Design Vintage Spring Basic, Strathmore Cold Press Watercolor Paper

Ink: Distress Ink Old Paper and Walnut Stain

Stamp: Gorjuss Top of the World

Distress Markers:
Hair - wild honey, brushed corduroy and gathered twigs
Skin- tattered rose. spun sugar and tea dye
Dress- shabby shutters and bundled sage
Apron- antique linen and old paper
Stocking/shoes- pumice stone and black soot

Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima 577544

Other: Hero Arts white embossing powder, clear vellum, paper doily and hemp

Thank for stopping by!
