Thank You Card

Hello everyone! I hope that you are enjoying the weekend. I have been unwell this week with vertigo. Now that I am much better, I was able to do some crafting. I made this card to show some appreciation to my friend at school who supported me this week. I hope she likes it.

It was a great opportunity to use  a die set that I haven't used and have been wanting to use which is the Honey Bee Coneflower Honey Cuts set. I pulled out a lot of of oldies from my stash, including older papers and dies to complete the card.

Supplies:

Dies: Honey Bee Lovey Layers Coneflower Honey Cuts, Spellbinders 5 x 7 Enchanted Labels 28, Spellbinders Labels 28

Paper: Pion Design: Fairytale of Spring Collection

Ink: Distress Ink: Gathered twigs, Walnut stain, Spun sugar, Victorian velvet, Shabby shutters, Peeled paint, Vintage photo, versamark ink

Other: Zing gold embossing powder, Kaisercraft Thank you DD951, Antiquities CS352, Pearls Pearl SB 713, Waffle flower shader 1+

Thinking of You

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a card with you that uses some new product PLUS lots of product from my stash. I think that while we love to buy new things, it's important to look at what we have and reimagine how they can be used once again.

I was very impressed with the Waffle Flower Postage Collage release. I purchased the die and one set of stencils. I love the vintage style in my crafting and I thought that I would incorporate this into my card.

I knew in advance which patterned papers I would be using and selected distress inks to compliment. Then I fussy cut vintage elements such as the clock and  aged some butterflies using vintage photo distress ink. I also had some vintage background stamps that I used to add to the vintage feel.

I added some flowers and twine and my card is complete!

Supplies:

Dies: Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die, Die namics fishtail flags stax
Paper: Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics and Vintage Autumn Basics

Ink: Distress ink Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Peeled Pain, Versafine vintage sepia

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Borders Stamp, Kaisercraft Butterflies CS854, Antiquities CS352, Texture Postmarks CS802

Other: Waffle Flowers Postage Collage Rose Stencil, Wild Orchid Crafts Blooms

Happiness Blooms

Hello everyone. I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing with a layout which features the gorgeous papers and products from the Amethyst Collection by Kaisercraft.

I was inspired by the pretty florals in this collection. I also wanted to have distressed/vintage look to my overall layout. I loved this photo! Sometimes you don't have to have people in your images in order to create, the flowers in the basket were perfect for the look I was going for.

To create the distressed/vintage look, I distressed the edges of my papers as well as randomly ripped papers to adhere to my background. I added a doily plus I layered my blooms.

If you would like to purchase any of these products from the collection, please contact your local stockist or visit the Kaisercraft online store.

Stay safe and well.

Love

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great week. Today I am sharing a card which I have made for Kaisercraft which features the stamp set from the Lady Like collection. This is a beautiful vintage floral collection. For my card, I heat embossed the stamp using gold embossing powder and used my zig markers to colour the images in.

Fun With Watercolor

PAPERS: Magenta Collection – PP1071 Paper Pad, CD101 Coconut Cardstock
KC PRODUCTS: CS356 Magenta Clear Stamp, Kaiser Mist: KM125 Candy, KM122 Yellow, KM127 Turquoise, KM126 Lime, CD501 Card pack Square White, DD528 Decorative Die Nesting Heart

OTHER: Watercolour paper, Laminated Paper, Scalloped Scissors, Wink Of Stella Clear Shimmer Pen, Versafine Ink

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great week. Today I am sharing two cards which are part of the Magenta Collection by Kaisercraft. When I saw the stamp set, I immediately knew that I would love to create some watercoloured cards using them. I created two cards using two mediums - mists and watercolour markers, both fun to use and both producing different results.

Apply generous drops of Kaiser Mists onto a laminated surface and then spritz it with water.
Press a piece of watercolour paper over and then dry with a heat gun. This creates a watercoloured background that can be used on its own or as a background that can be stamped upon.
You can use different mists to create different colour combinations.
Position the stamps strategically and fussy cut the images once stamped.
This technique is a great introduction to watercolouring for those who are willing to have a try!

PAPERS: Magenta Collection – PP1071 Paper Pad
KC PRODUCTS: CS356 Magenta Clear Stamp, CD510 Card Pack Square Black, SB702 Hot Pink Rhinestones

OTHER: Zig Markers, Versafine Onyx Black Ink, Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock

My second card features watercolour markers to showcase the floral stamps.

I selected these images from the stamp set and coloured them in using a light and a dark coloured maker to add some definition. I also chose dark papers to add a contrast with my flowers as I wanted them to stand out.

Watercolour is a great technique to use and can be applied using markers as well as mists.
