Fallen Leaves ~ Explore Layout

Hello everyone! I hope that you are safe and well. Today I am sharing my layout which features products and papers from Kaisercraft's Fallen Leaves Collection. In my layout, I wanted to explore some mixed media techniques for my background and to add some different textures.

I used some torn papers from the collection to add some interest and used a thin layer of white gesso as a base before adding some distress oxide inks.

I also used Kaisercraft a script stamp and stencil to add more texture as well. My paper blooms that I selected compliment the colours in my photo.

If you would like more details including full step by step instructions, click here to visit the Kaisercraft blog.

To purchase any of the products from this collection, visit your local stockist or click here to view the Kaisercraft online store.

Stay safe and well during these challenging times. Find something that brings you joy.

Take good care.

Little Treasures

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. It has been a little while since I have shared a papercraft post. With the delays in shipping, this has affected the release of collections from Kaisercraft however the wait is worth it. This collection is gorgeous. If you have baby photos or need to make some baby cards, Little Treasures will make your task easier.

Kaisercraft has been incorporating past die releases to compliment current paper collections. I have used the sketched circle and heart dies to create my own chipboard  pieces which I altered by stamping them in Versamark ink and heat embossing them with white and pink embossing powder.

I also used the paper pad and the coordinating stamp set to create a baby boy card.

I heat embossed the stamp and used my zig markers to colour the stamped whimsical image in. To age the background, I used some distress ink.

Happiness Blooms

Hello everyone. I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing with a layout which features the gorgeous papers and products from the Amethyst Collection by Kaisercraft.

I was inspired by the pretty florals in this collection. I also wanted to have distressed/vintage look to my overall layout. I loved this photo! Sometimes you don't have to have people in your images in order to create, the flowers in the basket were perfect for the look I was going for.

To create the distressed/vintage look, I distressed the edges of my papers as well as randomly ripped papers to adhere to my background. I added a doily plus I layered my blooms.

To view the full instructions please visit the Kaisercraft blog.

If you would like to purchase any of these products from the collection, please contact your local stockist or visit the Kaisercraft online store.

Stay safe and well.

Celebrate Today

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I cannot believe that we are approaching the end of the month, one that has been filled with so many highs and lows. I am sharing two projects that feature products from Kaisercraft's Native Breeze Collection.

This collection is abundant with beautiful florals, that can potentially showcase so many occasions. I selected this title as I felt with so much sadness affecting us all with the bushfires, tragedies in the media we needed to find hope and some joy in our days.

My second project features the clear stamp from the collection. I stamped it onto Bristol smooth cardstock and used my zig markers to colour it in.

It is such a pretty stamp and watercolour markers really are easy to work with.

Enjoy the Seaside

Hello everyone! I think that summer is nearly here....that is with Kaisercraft! This fabulous sea/beach collection called Unchartered Waters has so many possibilities to capture holiday photos, days spent at the beach or even by the pool. I have two projects to share using this collection.

My layout is a beach inspired layout. I used textures including stamping, cheese cloth, stencils and even some light misting to create my background. I added some altered paper blooms, collectable pieces as well as wooden flourishes to embellish my photo.

I used the stamp set to create a card. I coloured the main image in using copic markers and also created a background using watercolour paper plus some Kaiser mists. I added some collectable pieces to add to the shells, to create a little scene.
