Creating Bulk Christmas Cards

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a lovely week. I needed to create some cards for my colleagues at work, so that meant bulk cards. I grabbed the possible supplies that I might use and began. It was great to use some supplies that had been in my stash for such a long time and had not been used. What I came up with was:

- a stamped background
- foiled sentiments that can change
- pearls/rhinestones that can be changed
- focal die cut
- ink blending
- layered mats
- premade card base and envelopes
- bulk cards planned DONE.

From my plan, the design was set but the option to personalise was there. Simple! I am so happy with this card design. I will share another post where I have a part two of this design where I add to this for a second bulk design using some oldie but goodie supplies.

Supplies:

Paper: Kaisercraft Forest, Ivory

Kaisercraft CD509 Card Pack Square Kraft

Stamp: Prima Marketing 5x7 cling stamp texture

Dies: Spellbinders Floral ovals, Hero arts infinity ovals, Memory Box snowflake trees, Spellbinders hotfoil and die glitter wishes

Thank You

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the long weekend! Today I am sharing a card that I have made using some stamps ans watercolour markers. As it is the start of the school holidays (YAH!!) I always take the opportunity to work on some techniques and create something. Usually it involves colouring as it is a skill I enjoy v=but need to keep working at perfecting.

In my head I planned this card and nearly threw it out when I die cut my elements, however once I added my sentiment it came together! I used a Prima background stamp and stamped it onto kraft cardstock to create a vintage look.

I stamped some Altenew flowers and leaves and coloured them in using Zig markers and a waterbrush pen. I die cut them out using the coordintaing dies, but trimmed some of the excess of with my scissors. In the end, I am happy with how the card turned out and glad it didn't end up in the bin!

Supplies:

Stamps: Altenew Peony Scroll, Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Borders, Prima 5 x 7 Cling Stamp Texture

Ink: Distress Ground Espresso, Versamark, Versafine Onyx Black

Markers: Zig Markers Persian Green 033, Emerald Green 048 and Green 040

Paper: Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstck, Kraft and Kaisercraft Cardpack C6 Black

Other: Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Nuvo Glitter Accents Fresh Snowfall, Altenew Peony Scroll Coordinating Die, Pentel Water Brush

With Sympathy

Hello everyone. Sadly, there comes a time when we make these cards. Hopefully the handmade component, can help to ease the pain the recipient is feeling during a difficult period. I will be passing this card to someone who sadly is saying goodbye to her son who passed in tragic circumstances. When called to help a friend, his life was taken. This story was on the news two weeks ago. The mother is a close friend of my mother, and is very religious. She has been a support to my family during our sad times in the last two years. Hopefully this card will bring some respite to her during this time.

I stamped the flowers and sentiment using Versmark ink and embossed both using gold embossing powder. I watercoloured the flowers using Tombow markers and then to create a vintage look, inked the edges using antique linen distress oxide ink.

Here are some close ups...

Supplies:

Paper: Prima Tales of You and Me paper pad, Strathmore watercolour paper

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a layout that I have made using some papers from Meg's Garden. This collection is called Sherlock II A New Case. It very vintage with some grungy elements to it. If you would like to create some masculine projects, this is the collection for you! However, it can still be used to create very pretty projects accompanied with flowers and vintage embellishments.

I fussy cut this cluster from an ephemera sheet from the collection and adhered it using foam tape. I used some Blue Fern Studio chip board as an embellishment and altered it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder.

I used lots of Prima flowers in this layout as well as their textured stamps in my background.

Audrey Doll Tag

Hello everyone! Today I have a tag to share with you. I bought a few of the Julie Nutting doll stamps a while ago, and I haven't used them for ages. As I had some left over papers from some Meg's Garden projects, I thought it would be a great way to use both!

Firstly, I stamped the image twice and die cut them out using the coordinating dies. I stamped the dress onto left over Lavande paper and the face and legs section onto text paper. To colour the face and arms I used copic markers E000, E000, E11 and R20. To colour her hair I used E50, E55, E57 and E59.

To accent areas of her dress, I used copic markers BV000, BV11 and V17. I did some random stamping of butterflies and script over her dress to add some texture. I coloured her waist band in using some clear wink of stella. These flowers are from my stash, and they complement the doll and the papers.

I used the same skin tones to colour her legs. I used a black copic marker and the clear wink of stella to colour her shoes.

Some ribbon, seam binding and butterflies complete the tag.

Supplies:

Meg's Garden : Lavande Collection and White Flowers on Green

Stamps:  Prima Marketing Audrey stamp and die, Prima Marketing Read to Me #960841
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distress Ink Ground Espresso

Memories ~ Meg's Garden~

Hello everyone! I have another layout to share with you using this beautiful collectionfrom Meg's Garden called Lavande. It is just so beautiful to create with. I have another snapshot of my cousin's twin boys. They are seven months now. I am just amazed at the special connection they have.

To create my layout, I used the 12 x12 Lavande 07 and 11 papers. I inked the edges with Distress ink to vcreat an aged look. Using dimension foam tape adds dimension to the layers. I also cut of some of the 4 x 12 strips to make a tag and anything extra to the layout.

I had some ephemera left over from some of the other collections. It helped to add a vintage feel to the layout and to creat a focal point to the photo.
I also added some flowers and chipboard to my layout. I altered them either with white gesso or using Prima oil pastels.

When I created my background, I had some texture. I used a stencil and modelling paste plus two prima sprays. These are very subtle and you can see them if you look closely!

Supplies from Meg's Garden

Paper: Lavande Collection
Ephemera from Parisian Garden
Ephemera from White Flowers on Green
Flowers
Mesh Ribbon
