Special Day

Hello everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. Today I would like to share a card that I have created following a sketch from The Sweet Stop.

I really liked the design and had some time so I thought that I would play along this week. I haven't created cards with much stamping lately and wanted to pull out my favourites and stamp away! I stamped the floral centre onto some SU! water colour paper and used my SU! subtles markers to colour it in.
I used some muted tones throughout my card...my favourites! I repositioned the bow to the side as it worked better for me there as I wanted to add some flowers.

Supplies:

Paper: Pion Design, SU! crumb cake and very vanilla cardstock

Stamp: JustRite Botanical Medallions and banners

Ink: StazOn jet black, Versa Magic pink petunia, Memento desert sand, SU! subtles collections markers

Other: Spellbinders floral ovals, classic ovals small, JustRite nested oval medallion labels, Vintage label and banner dies, lace, Hug Snug lyric rose seam binding, Prima flowers encore B

Dress Form Tag

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing with you a Dress Form Tag that I have created. This week I am a GDT for The Shabby Tea Room.  This week the theme is 'Material Girl’ and you are asked to create a card/project inspired by the colors in the photo and include fabric.

As you know I adore paper dresses and dress forms. To create my form, I used a Tim Holtz die and to create the dress I used a template from Tara's Craft Studio. I used some lace to create an overlay on top of the skirt. I also created a fabric flower. I am working on a tutorial of how to make it and it will be up soon.

Here are some close ups...

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing some projects that I have completed using papers from the Tea Party Collection by Kaisercraft. When I saw these papers, I immediately imagined tea parties and high tea. This collection would be perfect to accessories a little girls tea party themed birthday party.

For my card, I used some Stampin' Up! markers to colour my card. I tried to use some shading to create some light in the centre of the cupcake to add some extra dimension.

Kaisercraft ~ Take Note Collection ~ A Special Day

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing with you a layout that I have created using papers from Kaisercraft's take Note Collection. This collection is so beautiful, muted tones, vintage feel....so versatile. To see more from this collection click here.

This photo is of me, taken a few years ago when I went on a pilgrimage. Behind me you will see beautiful views. This is in Fanjeaux in Southern France and this site is known as "Seignadou.' When I created this layout, my school had just celebrated its feast day and so this photo seemed fitting for me to use. I still have many photos from the trip that I haven't scrapped yet and hopefully will have an opportunity to do so (one day)!

This collection has many inspirational quotes and phrases. It really helps with journalling.

I used many paper blooms but made this creme flower out of calico.
