Easter Blessings

Hello everyone! I am sharing an Easter card that I have created. The Shabby Tea Room has a challenge this week of anything goes and you are asked to create a card or project with any theme that you choose! As Easter approaches, I thought thought I would choose it as a theme and....to try an embrace yellow!

I had this vintage image from my Pion Designs papers. I cut it out and framed it with a Melissa Frances resin frame. I also used two Spellbinders dies to add some interest.

Art Stamps Australia have some gorgeous paper laser cut outs available. I used one of their borders on my card.

Supplies:

Paper: Pion Design For Mother and fairytale of Spring, Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla

Stamp: JustRite Stampers Easter Blessings

Ink: Versafine vintage sepia and antique linen distress ink

Other: Melissa Frances frame, Martha Stewart flourish lace punch, Spellbinders timeless rectangles and twisted metal tags and accents, Prima petal pins iced, Kaisercraft mini paper blooms and pearls, Hooked on Craft flowers, Art Stamps Australia large creme flower border, Becca's peg bow maker.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Gift For You

Hello everyone! I am sharing another card with you. I am loving label stamps at the moment and just love colouring in (must be my Primary School Teacher hat)! My card follows the latest challenge from The Ribbon Reel. You are asked to create a card / project inspired by the photo using YELLOW & PINK plus RIBBON & FLOWER & LACE/TWINE.

Yellow is not a colour I use often and really struggle with it. My design began with my papers. I bought a lot of Pion Design papers in the school holidays and luckily had some that had touches of yellow and pink. I went through my stamps and decided a labels stamp would be the way to go.

I stamped my image onto some watercolour paper. I used some SU! markers and a blending pen to colour it in. I inked the edges with Antique linen and added some pearls to the centre of the flowers. I used some complimentary yellow floral paper and die cut it. I inked the edges and layered it with foam tape for dimension. I used my new Couture Creations fleur de frame die, and cut up a doily and added it to the label. Some flowers, bow, lace and pearl sprays complete my card.

Supplies:

Paper: SU! Very Vanilla, Pion Design For Mother Collection

Stamp: JustRite Stampers Violette Vintage Labels

Ink: SU! markers, Staz On Jet Black ink, Distress ink Antique Linen

Other: Spellbinders labels twenty and classic ovals small, Couture Creations Fleur de Frame, JustRite Vintage Label and Banner dies, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish, Petaloo Canterbury roses, Prima flowers and distressing tool, Vivaldi pearl spray, paper doily, lace, ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Dear

Hello everyone. What a busy week one has been. It is amazing how quickly the holidays pass and how the work load grows at an astronomical rate! I have been hesitant to use my Pion papers, as I love them so much and feel apprehensive that I may do more harm than good with my creations. But I took the plunge and used them to create my card.

My card follows this weeks sketch from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I used papers from Pion Designs, which coordinate beautifully together. I distressed and inked the edges of most of my layers. Here are some close ups...

Supplies:

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps Vintage Lables 18 and Cameo To Go

Ink: Distress Ink Old Paper and Stampin' Up! Soft Suede

Paper: Pion Designs Studio of Memories and Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla cardstock

Other: Spellbinders Nestabilities labels 18, Martha Stewart doily lace punch, Nostalgia florals, Hooked on Craft flowers, seam binding. Bow Easy and lace.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
