Shabby Chic Card

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share a card with you that I have made following a sketch from Mojo Monday.

I am currently at my busiest time of the year. It's school report time PLUS so many deadlines and meetings with school....(I'm a little bit tired!) Crafting is my creative outlet...it helps to keep some balance/sanity as well as something to look forward to. It's also a bit of a reward....finish this then do some craft! I had a lot of fun creating this card...a perfect reward I say!

Supplies:

Paper: Prima Fairy Belle, Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla, Kaisercard Weave Ballet and Forest

Ink: Distress Ink: Antique Linen

Other: Memory Box Chloe Stem and Chesapeake Circle, Spellbinders classic squares small and classic scalloped squares small, Sizzix little leaves, Die-namics fishtail flags stax, Kaisercraft rhinestones Champagne, Doily, Lace, Ruby Rock-It trimmings, Hug Snug Seam Binding Lyric Rose, Green Tara flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

So Very Loved

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing a layout with you that follows the current Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch which is below.

I really liked the elements of this sketch. The banners offer potential to create boy pages. In my interpretation of the sketch, I replaced one of the rectangular mats for a doily.

I used papers from the Curiosity Collection and my background paper is from Base Coat 3. There are so many journaling pieces as well as papers that you can fussy cut.

I used Spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28 die here to create a frame for my photo. I also used the labels 28 die to mat and shape my photo.
I created my own cherry blossoms using some Kaisercraft flowers. I will share a tutorial at a later date.

I hope that you'll stop by the Kaisercraft blog to join in and to also see what Joanne and Geraldine created.

Supplies:

Kaisercraft Products:  Base Coat Collection Shabby Chic P1329, Curiosity Collection: Intrigue P1264, Uncanny P1272, Unusual P1271, Rare 1270, Clear Stamp Script CS752, Paper Blooms Coral F662, Mini Paper Blooms Honey F645, Flowers Ivory F602

Other: Distress ink walnut stain and dried marigold, Tim Holtz Spills and Splatters, Spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28, Labels 28, classic ovals large and classic scalloped ovals large, Memory Box elegant scrollwork, Distressing tool, doily, jute string, stamens.

I found a lovely pumpkin image from some Graphic 45 papers that I fussy cut. I used some leaves, branches and flowers to add the the pumpkin. I also added some platinum stickles to my sentiment, to add a vintage touch.

The design of my card follows Deconstructed Sketch 115.
