Wildlife Pouches

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Like everyone, I have felt compelled to do something to assist in some way with the bushfires. Although donating money is one way, crafters all around the world are supporting the animals which have been affected by the fires by making items. Inspired by this I have joined in and have been sewing as well.

I discovered the above group on Facebook. Once you join, you have access to information plus the patterns. You also see the projects completed by other crafters as well. You need to click on the announcements tab to find information about items are needed. At the time, there was a need for pouches which is what I started with.

These are my XX small pouches. These will help sugar gliders and unfurred possums.

These are my X small pouches. These will assist ringtail possums and bandicoots.

Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone! I hope that you are safe and well. Today I am sharing a card with you that features stamps and products from the Lily and Moss Collection by Kaisercraft. I was really inspired by the stamp set and decided that I would use this as my main focus for my card.

I used my copic markers to colour one of the stamps that are part of the stamp set. Once I had finished colouring the image in, I used a white gel pen to add some details to the largest blooms.

To add a vintage feel to my card, I added some die cut details around my stamped image. I used the corner die from the ornate pack 2 plus some rhinestones.

If you don't own copic markers, this image would like beautiful watercoloured using watercolour markers. It doesn't take a long time to colour in, but the results are very pleasing!
