How to Use a Pom Pom Maker

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a great day. I have been enjoying mixing things up lately, especially finding ways to use up my scraps of wool which have been left overs from different projects. A while a go I purchased some pom pom makers and they have been in the packet ever since. Well, I am glad that I opened up that packet and used them because the results are amazing.

Below is a video sharing how to use this pom pom maker. If you are interested in purchasing one, I got mine from Lincraft. They cost $5 and are excellent.

DIY Pom Pom Tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope that you are are well. Today I have another fun crafty video to share with, a craft that I haven't used in quite a while...making pom poms! I have left over wool from knitting projects and so it's a great way to use it up. I was even thinking of adding some to some beanies that I have made as well.

Happiness Blooms

Hello everyone. I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing with a layout which features the gorgeous papers and products from the Amethyst Collection by Kaisercraft.

I was inspired by the pretty florals in this collection. I also wanted to have distressed/vintage look to my overall layout. I loved this photo! Sometimes you don't have to have people in your images in order to create, the flowers in the basket were perfect for the look I was going for.

To create the distressed/vintage look, I distressed the edges of my papers as well as randomly ripped papers to adhere to my background. I added a doily plus I layered my blooms.

Tropical Vibes

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a layout which features products from the Sunkissed Collection by Kaisercraft. It's a jam packed collection filled with anything you need to scrapbook holidays, create tropical themed decorations or even capture memories at the beach or pool.

I created my own circular frame using kraft cardstock. I wrapped some twine around it to add dimension. I also wanted more texture so I used corrugated board as my photo mat. I used my paintbrush to apply some turqouise Kaisermist in my background to add splash of colour.

There are quite a number of lovely blooms and leaves available in the collectables of this collection. By adhering them using craft glue and mounting foam it adds depth and layers.

I used some of the flourishes from the beach pack in this cluster. I stamped each with Versamark ink and used different embossing powders to alter them.

Celebrate Today

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I cannot believe that we are approaching the end of the month, one that has been filled with so many highs and lows. I am sharing two projects that feature products from Kaisercraft's Native Breeze Collection.

This collection is abundant with beautiful florals, that can potentially showcase so many occasions. I selected this title as I felt with so much sadness affecting us all with the bushfires, tragedies in the media we needed to find hope and some joy in our days.

My second project features the clear stamp from the collection. I stamped it onto Bristol smooth cardstock and used my zig markers to colour it in.

It is such a pretty stamp and watercolour markers really are easy to work with.

Art Foam Daisy Tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great Australia Day long weekend. Tomorrow I return back to school and I cannot believe how quickly the Christmas holiday break went. I have been planning on editing this tutorial for a while and I only managed to get it done today.

These are some daisies that I have in my garden. These photos were taken last year before all of the heat waves that we have had. After seeing how pretty they were, I was inspired to make some daisies.

Below is a video tutorial that I have made which shows you my process. After listening to my voice over. I did notice that sometimes I call my 'wooden skewer' a 'stylus' but I think you should be able to over look that error. Sorry!
