Special Moments

The layout I am sharing with you today is based upon Let’s Capture These Sketches #46.

I was really excited to receive my Prima papers and thought that this was a great opportunity to use them in this layout.

I created the circular frame and applied crackled paint to create an aged look.

I also used a combination of pink and blue flowers to compliment the colours of the paper.

Supplies:

Paper: Prima Pixie Glen Collection

Other: Prima leaves, Prima flowers Calcutta Minis Porcelane, Pearl Penache Ice Castle flowers, Fairytale Roses orchid, Kaisercraft paper blooms dusty pink and sea breeze, Ranger distress crackle paint, Bobunny trinkets, Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Motifs, Martha Stewart doily lace edge punch, Prima alphabet stickers, chipboard.

Pion Design Blog Candy

Hello again! I am a fan of the Pion Design paper ranges. The designs are simply gorgeous. They are simply perfect for creating vintage cards and scrapbook layouts and all things vintage! As they are not readily available in Australia, I have not had the opportunity to personally use them in projects. I have only admired other scrapbookers who have!

If you like me wish to have the opportunity to win some Pion Papers, simply join in the blog candy they are currently offering. To see just how gorgeous some of the creations are click here.

My favourite collection would have to be the Forget Me Not From My Heart II. I love the subtle imagery and soft tones they feature.

If you participate in the blog candy, you too have the chance to win the beautiful range From My Heart II.

Have a great day!

With Love

Hello fellow bloggers. I have had a lovely time in both Thailand and Singapore. I am still finding my feet and am slowly returning back to reality! Today I am sharing with you a card which is for WMSC 81.

The flowers in the background paper remind me of the beautiful vibrant Asian flowers which I saw while on holidays. To create the background frame, I cut and embossed two Fleur De Lis Squares from the floral paper and then trimmed of some of the detail off one. Where the squares overlapped, I simply attached some ribbon.

Next I used a border stamp from the vintage labels 10 set. Following this I selected a vintage labels 1 border stamp then added a sentiment from fancy phrases.

I added foam tape to each layer to add dimension.

To finish the card I added some pearls and a bow.

Supplies:

Paper: Merci Vintage Rose, DCWV paper stack brights

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Vintage Label 10, Fancy Phrases, Vintage Labels 1

Ink: Stampin’ Up Rich Razzleberry

Other: Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur De Lis Squares, Classic Rectangles Small, Classic Rectangles Large, Labels One and Labels Ten, ribbon, foam tape, pearls.

Thanks for stopping by!
