Hello everyone. I am sharing with a card that I have made for The Shabby Tea Room challenge. This week
the theme is 'Pretty Party'. You are asked to create a card or project inspired by the photo USING PINK AND GREEN PLUS FLOWERS!
I had in mind a paper collection I already had and love, Kaisercraft English Roses. It has a lot of green/pink papers that would be perfect for this challenge.
I made a side step card this week. I followed a tutorial from Splitcoaststampers which you can find here.
For my first side tier, I added a few flowers along with a die cut flourish. Behind it in tier two, I stamped and die cut a sentiment. I replaced the sentiment with a tag as I plan to give this card to my sister for her birthday.
For my third tier, I die cut and embossed a Spellbinders butterfly along with a circular flourish die. I off set the flourish so that things would line up when looking at the card from the front.
A small arrangement of flowers were added along with a flourish to the main side of the card. I wanted the papers to reveal the floral pattern so I left it bare.
Supplies:
Paper: Kaisercraft English Rose 6" paper pad, Stampin' Up! cardstock
Ink: Versa Magic pink petunia, Versfine vintage sepia, Distress ink worn lipstick
Stamps: JustRite stampers You're so Sweet and Just Because set
Other: Die-namics vintage flourish, Spellbinders shapeabilities butterflies, Spellbinders nestabilities circles large, Memory Box Quinn flourish, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Liquid pearls bisque, Hooked on Craft flowers.
Thanks for stopping by!
