Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a layout that was featured in Kaisercraft's March magazine and also at CHA. If you would like to make this layout, all of the instructions are available over at the Kaisercraft website.
Hello everyone! Today I am sharing two Easter cards that I have made. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by and I thought that I should start replenishing my card supply with some more Easter cards before next week. For my cards, I have used Maja Design papers, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and Scrapinec chipboard.
To alter my chipboard pieces, I heat embossed them using white embossing powder. To glue them onto my papers, I used a Zig pen....so great with the fine details....wished I had tried using this earlier!
This is a more subdued card. I used left over papers from the paper pad to die cut a wreath frame. I used tiny WOC blossoms to embellish and also some liquid pearls to add some finishing touches.
This is a short post from me today. I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Hello everyone! I hope that you have had a wonderful week. Today I am sharing with you an explosion box. I plan to give this as a gift to my cousin who had recently been away on a family holiday. I have started to add some of the photos that they have shared inside, but I'll share with you how this box is like a mini album.
When you open the box this is your first view. It has three layers, each has a section that has been designed to hold photos.
The first layer has four mini waterfall sections that have magnetic closures.
The first layer also has four side pockets which have tags that have spots for photos an journaling.
The middle section has four pockets that contain a mini book. Each book has a space for four photos.
The final section has four belly bands, with enough room for tags and photos.
Below I have a short video walk through which explains the mechanisms of this explosion box.
Hello everyone! I hope that all is well. Today I am sharing two cards that have made using the same stamp set. I have used the Altenew Beautiful Day stamps and coordinating dies to create my cards. I am a huge fan of the Altenew stamps. They have such beautiful stamp layering sets that are elegant and versatile to create cards with. These sets along with the inks are available from Meg's Garden.
For my first card, I stamped my card onto watercolour paper and heat set it with gold embossing powder. I used a combination of distress markers and Tombow markers to colour the stamps in.
For my second card, I used the Altenew ink to stamp the images, and the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used the following inks for the flower: pink diamond, pinkalicious, rubellite and razzleberry. For the leaves I used frayed leaf, forest glades and evergreen.
I used foam tape between my layers to add dimension.
Hello everyone. I hope that you are well. Today the Kaisercraft DT were asked to create something inspired by the pantone colour of the year. I decided to create a card and also to use the clear stamp from the Fairy Garden collection in my creation. This month, one of the collection released is called Misty Mountains and it features beautiful hues of purple...so I combined the two!
I used my copic markers to colour the fairy and used my clear wink of stella pen to add some shimmer to her and also to my background.

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a fairy house which I created using on old jar that once had cookies ....... lots of cookies!!! Over on the Kaisercraft blog, the DT are sharing Girls Room decor items and I decided to make a fairy house. I was inspired by the Fairy Garden papers and thought that little girls love fairies and why not make something that they would love to have in their room.
I used an embossing folder to add texture to the door and also die cut lots of leaves to add dimension to the foliage around the windows. I used the fairies from the collectables and adhere one to the front using foam tape.
I also placed some fairies strategically looking out of the windows as well.
Kaisercraft have also release their own brand of foamiran which is called art foam. Here are my first flowers made using this product.
This is such a beautiful collection...whimsical and fun.
