Merry Christmas


Merry Christmas
Want a card that children can make? This card was designed as a craft lesson for my year 4 class. It uses a lot of punches and creates maximum effect. The 23 children who created this card in one hour were delighted!


You will need

·         Stampin’ Up oval punch 11/4” x 2”
·         Stampin” Up decorative label punch
·         Martha Stewart Double Edge Punch Doily Trim
·         Flower punch (five petal)
·         Holly leaf punch
·         Merry Christmas stamp – Stamp It
·         Red Ink
·         Foam tape
·         Red rhinestones
·         Glue
1.      Cut a 10cmx14cm card mat and glue onto card. (for the children, I had prepared templates for them to trace around)
2.      Glue card mat onto card.
3.      Punch a doily strip using Martha Stewart punch. Adhere to card mat.
4.      Stamp sentiment onto white card stock. Punch using oval punch.
5.      Punch a red tag using SU decorative label punch.
6.      Glue sentiment to label. Attach to card using foam tape.
7.      Punch holly leaves using punch.
8.      Punch two flowers.
9.      Arrange and glue into place.
10.  Place red rhinestones in centre of top flower.
