Hello everyone. I am sharing with a birthday card that I have made. It follows the latest challenge from The Shabby Tea Room. Birthdays come around so quickly so I thought it's a good idea to start stock piling them! For the challenge, you are asked to create a card or project inspired the COLORS AND THEME of the photo!
I love Spellbinders dies and I wanted to use a decorative die to create a shaped card. I die cut a decorative labels eight die on the fold of pale pink cardstock. Place the die just over the folded edge so that it creates a fold. I repeated this again with a single piece of cardstock. I applied glossy elements to the folded section and attached both pieces together.
I selected a smaller decorative labels eight die and die cut some pale pink card stock and then used the labels eight die to die cut some patterened pink paper. I used a labels die then stamped my sentiment using some left over background paper. It needed something extra so I used another die and die cut it with creme cardstock. Some pearls, bow and ribbon complete my card.
Supplies:
Paper: Prima Tea Thyme, Kaisercaft ballet and Stampin' Up! very vanilla
Stamp: JustRite fleur de lis labels twenty
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Other: Spellbinders decorative labels eight, labels eight, fancy framed tags one and twisted metal tags and accents, Hug Snug lyric rose seam binding, Kaisercraft pearls, Becca's peg bow maker.
