Butterflies

Hello everyone. I am sharing a card that I have created for the layest JustRite Friday Challenge. For JRFC #083, you are asked to use at least 3 coordinating patterns in your project.

While on Pinterest, I came across a pin that shared free vintage scrapbook paper. I loved it and have used it in my card. In my card, I picked out the blue and red and embellished with these colours. I sewed around the edges and around the heart. I used some Memory Box dies to add some soft touches, along with a pearl flourish. I have some close ups to share with you....

Sweet Dreams

This layout is following the sketch for Creative Scrappers #197.

I was drawn to the vintage possibilities that this sketch had to offer.

I used lace, distressed and inked the papers and finished each layer with some machine sewing.

I inked a chipboard flourish with white ink then applied a crackle medium to add a vintage touch.

I created a mini paper vine, then added a few extra flowers to fill in the gaps.

A vintage trinket and my title finishes off the layout.

Hi everyone. I just love the new Kaisercraft Collection These Days. I just adore vintage feel papers and this collection achieves this. I wanted to try to incorporate stripes into this layout as well as it tends to be something I avoid!

Here I incorporated die cut elements with some paper flowers. This too was something I wanted to try.

I applied crackle paint, then lighted applied some distress ink to created an aged look. 

Nothing says vintage than a cameo trinket.
