Love

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing a layout that I have made of my cousin's sons...and yes it is pink because I'm playing along at the challenge over at Prima this month. They have a mood board for inspiration and I think that you can push the boundaries a bit with colour.

I have quite a number of Prima art mediums in my stash now so it was great to have a play. I used chalk inks to alter the chippie title and circular frame, and I used the wax crayons with a water brush to colour the chippie on the right. Having two coats of white gesso is vital so that the mediums have something to grab onto.

I used some color bloom sprays, stamps and stencils to create my background. Once everything was done I added some glass beads here and there.

Supplies:

Paper: Tales of You and Me 6" collection kit, Vintage Emporium Verona 847616

Ink: Color Bloom 2 Wild Berry 588779, Vintage Pink and Blossom Tress chalk ink, Water Soluble Oil Pastel, Worn Leather Color Bloom

Flowers: Tales of You and Me 586317 and 577407

Dies: Crochet doily and forest leaves

Other: Say it in Crystals 586126, Glass beads plum 961718, Stencil grungy grid 961718, Stamp Read it to me 960841

Vintage Card ~ Prima

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I am taking advantage of my holidays and enjoying the time to create. I have joined in another Prima challenge and created a card using the December cards and tags sketch.

I used a Shabby Chic resin treasure to frame this beautiful vintage image cut out from one of the papers from the paper pad.

I used a combination of seam binding and hemp double bows to accent the coordinating flowers of the collection.

Supplies:

Paper: Tales of You and Me 6x6 Collection Kit

Flowers Tales of You and Me #586317

Die: Parisian Lace Metal Die Cut 1

Other: Shabby Chic Treasures #892111, Resin Icon #573324

Lifelong Friends

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a layout with you which has some photos from my trip which I took earlier this year. I was inspired by the BAP sketch at Prima, and I thought that it was a great way to start scrapping some of my photos.

I am still a novice when it comes to mixed media, so I am trying to come out of my comfort zone and use the mediums as much as possible. I do love teals/aqua tones and wanted to use them in the layout.

I used a 2 Crafty chippie for my title and embossed it using some LSG bronze embossing powder.
I absolutely love butterflies and so I had to use this beautiful cling stamp (#580179) on my page. I also used some of the Prima dies to die cut some leaves to accompany the Prima flowers as well.
I used some of the Art Basics as well to create some texture.

Supplies:

Paper: Editorial Collection : Maestro (background) and French Riviera Collection

Stamps: Clings Stamps #580223 (rings) and #580179 (butterfly)
Clear Stamps #960641

Die: Doily 1 and leaves

Flowers: French Riviera #586188 and #586829

Ink and Sprays: Stazon Jet Black, Dark Bark, Color Bloom Worn Leather and Dragonfly Blue

Other: Art Basics Clear Gesso and Texture Paste, 2 Craft Chipboard, LSG Midnight Bronze Embossing Powder, Finnabaur Stencil Grungy Grid
