Christmas Greetings ~Maja Design

Hello everyone! I hope that you have had a greet weekend. Today I am sharing a Christmas card with you. I had bought a Tim Holtz die a while ago and have been wanting to use it and now that I had a tiny window of time, had the chance to create a card with it. It took a while and I love it.

I used the Snowglobe#2 die set. It has LOTS of tiny pieces. I also used Maja Design papers to create my vintage card.

To finish my card, I discovered a poinsettia die set in my stash that I forgot I had and made some white foamiran poinsettias. I also die cut some foliage and inked them up using distress inks.

Supplies:

Paper: Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics, Kaisercraft Cardstock Snow CS301, Chocolate CD109, Buttercup CD126, Blue Haze CD156, Olive CD117

Die: Time Holtz Snowglobe #2 662421, and Holiday Greens, Magnolia Christmas Poinsettia

Distress Ink Walnut Stain, Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn

Other: Stamens, White Foamiran

Pretty Floral Slimline Cards

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing two slimline cards using papers and products from the gorgeous Flower Shoppe Collection by Kaisercraft. Slimline cards are very on trend at the moment and I wanted to have a try at creating this type of card.

In this card, I wanted to use lots of flowers and the butterflies. I stacked the flowers over some die cut cuts, plus some collectable pieces. I also used some fish tails, to take advantage of the length of this card design.

To create the base of my cards, I used a strong A4 cardstock. I trimmed it down to 8" x 9". On a scoreboard, with the 8" side facing the top, I scored it down the centre at 4", creating a 4" x 9" card.

For my second card, I created the same cardbase as above and utilised the pretty collectables to decorate my card.

To create a shabby chic look, I used some decorative dies as accents.

Vintage Pop and Twist Christmas Card

Hello everyone! I hope that You are well. I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone but I am excited to share with you an interactive Christmas card that looks impressive and is not difficult to make.

I am using products from Kaisercraft's Christmas Miracle kit. This collection is traditional, vintage and gorgeous. That was my inspiration for my design choices but I wanted to do something a little bit different which is why I chose to make the pop and twist design.

I have a video tutorial for you if you would like to make this card.

Christmas Greetings

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am so happy to share a Christmas card with you from a stunning collection called Whimsy Wishes. It has beautiful blue tones, accompanied by soft pastel illustrations featured in the collectables and also in the papers. When I have more time and I need to make more cards for my family and friends, I am coming back to this collection to create more!

I wanted to create a vintage styled card, so I selected some complimentary papers and a kraft base. I used neutral flowers, doilies and then I could select any greeting from the paper pad to complete my card.

Merry Christmas | Kaisercraft

Hello everyone! I hope that you have had a great week. Today I am sharing another Christmas card with you. This time it is with Kaisercraft's second Christmas release which is called Emerald Eve. This has a more traditional feel, which I do like in Christmas cards.

I love foliage on cards.  I added dimension by using layers of cardstock leaves to create fullness and texture. The gold swirl also contributes to the traditional feel that I also like as well.

Hello everyone! I hope that you are safe and well. Today I am sharing my first Christmas card of the year which features papers and products from Kaisercraft's Native Noel Kit. Scrapbook kits are new to Kaisercraft and this Aussie themed Christmas collection is beautiful.

I decided to create a vintage Christmas card. I used a die which was released earlier this year which coordinated beautifully with the kit. I incorporated the papers and burlap trim and festive ribbon to finish my card.

Peace and Joy Card Tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. I was doing a bit of a hard drive clean up, and I came across some unedited card making footage. I have just finished editing and thought that I would share, thinking that some ladies may be starting to make their Christmas cards.

Please note that this is NOT a current release, but you may be inspired to use this design for a current card OR you may still have this collection in your stash.
