Bonjour!

Hello everyone! I am sharing with you the card I have made for the WMCS121. I decided to go with neutral tones for this card.

Paper: Kaisercraft 6" paper pad After Five Collection

Other: Prima parchment petals antique, Hooked on Craft flowers, Stampin' Up! crumb cake scalloped tulle ribbon, Martha Stewart doily lace punch, black ribbon.

Charming

Hello everyone! I have another card to share with you. This card follows the Vintage Charm challenge from The Shabby Tea Room. For this challenge you are asked to create a card or project inspired by THE COLORS IN THE PHOTO AND INCLUDE A CHARM!

For my card, I have used a number of digital files from Webster's Pages. The colours from the collections all compliment each other so beautifully.

I used a Kaisercraft frame and attached a butterfly charm to its base using a jump ring. To compliment the silver, I then created my own trinket pin.
I used various flowers to finish my card.

Supplies:

Paper: Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane, Girl Land and Country Estate

Other: Spellbinders nestabilities classic ovals small and large, doily, Kaisercraft wood flourishes frames and paper blooms, Hooked on Craft flowers and leaves, butterfly charm, Prima flowers Lady Godivas coconut, avon rose pixie glen and mini rose coral, Stampin' Up! seam binding, Fiskars punch.

Celebrate

Hello everyone. I am sharing a card with you that follows the latest sketch from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
I am at the moment in the midst of writing school reports, hence am becoming very time poor. After completing one set of comments, I had some time to fill in with some craft, as a reward to myself! The sketch was great to work with and my card came together quite easily.

My card was based around my background paper. I stamped a label stamp in a coordinating ink, then used a butterfly stamp to have as a main focal image. I stamped it twice and covered it with some sparkle!
I pulled out a Martha Stewart punch that I haven't used in a while and topped it with some ribbon.
To finish it off, I stamped a sentiment and added some pearls to the butterfly.
Supplies:

Paper: Stampin' Up! cardstock, Pastel basics paper pack

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps Florentine Frippery and Say It Lod, JustRite Stampers Botanical Butterflies

Ink: Momento tuxedo black, Stampin' Up! orchid opulence, Stampin' Up! markers

Other: Spellbinders shapeabilities Parisian Motifs, Zva Creative pearls, Martha Stewart floral vine punch, Hooked on Craft flower, Glitzin Glamour crystalina, ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Friendship

Hello! The card I am sharing with you follows the latest challenge from JustRite Friday Challenge #084. You are asked to use at least 3 flower embellishments in your project.I love adding flowers to my cards and projects and couldn't resist!

I used the Vintage ovals labels stamp as my focus. I really love this stamp set and have used it in a number of my cards. I inked the edges to create the vintage look.

I also added a number of flowers. I used three colours, white, aqua and taupe. I varied the sizes to add some interest. I also used a fabric flower with a gem centre. It adds just a bit of bling to the card. I also incorporated some lace and a coordinating paper border to link all of the colours together.

Supplies:

Paper: Kaisercraft Le Chateau Collection 6" paper pad

Stamp: JustRite Stampers Vintage Ovals Labels

Ink: Versafine onyx black, Distress ink walnut stain

Other: Hooked on Craft flowres, Ruby Rock-It nostalgia florals, Spellbinders nestabilities labels thirteen, Kaisercaft mini paper blooms, lace.

Thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Birthday

Hello everyone! I am sharing with you a birthday card that I have made for a friend of mine who will be celebrating his birthday this week. As he loves cars, I felt that a vintage/steampunk design would fit the bill. I inked all edges with ink then distressed them. I used a number of chippies for this card. I painted the clock with white acrylic paint. Once dry, inked the edges then stamped over the top of it. Once dry, I applied a layer of rock candy to add more texture.
For the gears, I placed the largest gear inside an embossing folder and ran it through my Spellbinders Grand Callibur. I applied a layer of distressed stain, and with my finger dabbed some blue paint. While wet I added the rock candy.

This is my first attempt at steampunk. I think it's great style for masculine cards and also a great way to incorporate textures into projects.

Supplies:

Paper: Kaisercraft After Five Collection 6" paper pad, kraft cardstock

Stamps: Bobunny Weekend Market and Midnight Frost, Waltzingmouse Stamps chicken wire, Stampin' Up! teeny tiny sentiments

Ink: Distress ink walnut stain, Distress stain walnut stain, StazOn jet black and Colorbox chestnut roan

Other: Cuttlebug embossing folder textile, WOW clock and gears, Dusty Attic name plate, distress crackle paint rock candy, Kaisercraft acrylic paint white and sea breeze, Distrezz It All.

Shabby Chic Bag and Gift Box

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing with you two projects that I have completed for this weeks challenge from The Shabby Tea Room. The challenge is to create a card or project inspired by the COLORS in the photos and INCLUDE A RUSTIC ELEMENT AND ELEGANT ELEMENT!

After looking at the photo I drew inspiration from the wooden table, the flowers and the appearance of the table setting.

To create a rustic feel, I wanted to have a crackled paint effect. I also wanted two tones of paint to show the cracks. I started by  painting a dark brown layer of paint and once dry painted a medium to thick coat of decore crackle. After leaving it to dry overnight, I then applied the top layer of paint. As it dried the cracks appeared.

I decorated the frame edge with pearls, flowers and butterflies. This was my elegant element. I used paper from the same Kaisercraft collection to decorate the base of the bag, box and front insert. I used a rubon quote that I think is touching!

I painted my candleabra using white distress paint and added some pearls to add some elegance.
I added another rustic element, a key. I inked it then used clear rock candy distress to add a rusty look to it.

To finish the bag, I added some lace....
The box was completed and decorated in a similar manner. I created a floral cluster and added a trinket pin as an elegant feature. Here are the close ups....

This post is lengthy today but I hope that you'll give some of these techniques a go!

Supplies:

Bag

Paper mache bag, Kaisercraft These Days collection, wood flourish candleabra, antique white paint, raw umber paint, pearls, Friends rubons, Prima pixie vine Fairy Belle, Dusty Attic keys, Jo Sonja's decore crackle, Distress crackle paint, clear rock candy and picket fence distress crackle paint, lace.

Box

Paper mache box, Kaisercraft These Days collection, antique white paint, raw umber paint, Hooked on Craft trinket pin, Prima flowers Arcadian collection and Fairytale roses baby pink, ribbon and lace.

Thanks Debbie for this opportunity in being a guest designer this week in The Shabby Tea Room.

A Grateful Heart

Hello everyone! I am back with another card. This card follows the challenge inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room.
You are asked to create a card or project inspired by the photo USING PINK, GREEN, WHITE AND LACE!

I have created a z-fold card for this challenge. I have made this card type before and really enjoy making it. Lots of spaces to consider, so I will have lots of photos today! I started by selecting may papers. I decided to use Charlotte's Dream as it has lots of soft muted tones.

Here is a view of the front of the card....
the back....
It also has a slider to write your sentiment and message.

For the front, I stamped and decorated using Stampin' Write markers and layered using Spellbinders dies. I added some flowers, on of which was a lace rose. To add dimension, I added foam tape to each layer.

The middle panel has a lovely die cut heart doily. I printed a lovely tag from Digital Paper Janet Etsy.
The back panel also has a slider section. Here are some close ups....

Supplies:

Paper: Kaisercraft Charlottes Dream and 6 1/2" paper pad, Stampin' Up! cardstock

Stamp: JustRite Stampers Vintage Rose Medallions

Ink: StazOn jet black, Stampin' Up! markers

Other: Hooked on Craft flowers, Prima flowers, Spellbinders nestabilities classic ovals large, floral ovals, labels eighteen, standard circles small, Spellbinders shapeabilities butterflies, JustRite nested oval medallion labels, QuiccKutz heart doily, Die-namics fancy flourish, medium leafy flourish, Memory Box madera die, Martha Stewart branch punch, Vivaldi lace rose, London Tea digital tag, lace, doily, Liquid pearls bisque.
