Happy Birthday Cards

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am sharing two birthday cards that I created using products from my stash. My cards are both 5 x 7 and it is a design that I now love and will definitely use again.

I decided that I wanted to use a dies set that I hadn't used in a long time. I used the Spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28 and Label 28 dies. I own so many Spellbinders labels dies, so it felt good to be using them in a card.

Both cards have a white card base and the first mat is kraft. Then I layered with Kaisercraft patterned paper and added my embellishments. I used the Collectables from the same collection. I used a collection of dies to die cut my leaves and foliage to add dimension under my flowers.

Supplies:

Paper: Kaisercraft Flower Shoppe Collection  Afternoon P2938, Garden Path P2491, Collectables CT983, Kaisercard: Dew Drop CD360, Ballet CD142, Snow 301, Kraft 651

Dies: Spellbinders 5 x 7 Enchanted Labels 28, Labels 28, Kaisercraft Foliage Clock DD756, Memory Box Botanical Stem,  Memory Box Winterberry Sprig

Other: Flowers Prima Salvage District #586430, Green Tara Azaleas Beige, Green Tara Pink Rose Buds, Distress Ink Antique Linen, Kaisercraft pearls pearl SB713

Elegant Birthday Card

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well. Today I am digging into my supplies and using things in my stash that I have not used in a while or have not had the time to use. I have been a fan of Spellbinders dies for a very long time because I love the details you can achieve.

I used Kaisercraft papers and stamp set to create my sentiment. I also added flowers to create the elegance which I like to use. To complete my card I used some pearls.

It felt so good to use supplies from my stash. Please note, I am not sure if these products are still available but I will still list them in case you are interested.

Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone! It's been a very long while but I am very happy to be able to share a birthday card with you today. It's using paper from Kaisercraft's new release Lilac Mist.

To create my card, I wanted to showcase lots of the papers as I had a difficult time deciding which ones I wanted to use as I liked them all. To help me in my design decision, I pulled out of the paper pad some papers that were my first choice - which were four! Next I went to Pinterest and had a look at the card sketches. I often do this to kick start my ideas and then I found a sketch that appealed to me. This sketch would enable me to showcase the papers I selected plus provide me with some options in my composition.

My take on the sketch....

To get the dimensions of the smaller squares, I just cut out scrap paper and played around with them until I was happy with everything.

Once my papers were positioned, I embellished with flowers and dies from previous releases.
