Poinsettia Bloom Cards
Hello everyone! I hope that you have been enjoying your week. I am enjoying my school holidays and am now sitting down to create some more Christmas cards before school goes back. I really loved this die set once it was released and was eager to make a card or two with it. I used some new and old dies from my stash to create my card. I experimented with cardstock, as I planned to ink blend as was shown on the Spellbinders video. I had the most success using white cardstock and using distress ink for the entire bloom.
I wanted to use a decorate edge, to break up the white, so I used an old Spellbinders border die to achieve this. I love the elegant feel this card has.
This time I wanted to use some of my patterned papers in my card and I decided that I wanted a vintage styled card. Once I decided on my papers, I inked my bloom the same way and I used a different edge die to break up the background.
I used a script stamp and stamped it in random placed to add an aged feel to my paper. I also added vintage photo distress ink to all of my layers as well.
I am so glad I purchased this die set. It is versatile and so great to use.

Believe in the Magic of Christmas
Hello everyone! I have another Christmas card to share with you. This is from my Spellbinders shopping spree. It is a stitched ornament display card. I love stitching and this card fuels my love of two crafts, stitching and cardmaking!
The dies come with a pop up stand configuration, which I decorated with patterned paper from a past Kaisercraft release. I used the label strip as my sentiment. I stitched the ornament die using DMC thread.

Dies: Spellbinders Stitched Ornament Display
Other: DMC thread, Kaisercraft rhinestones SB711, Distress ink vintage photo

Wreath Swap - Home is Where the Wreath Is
Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week. Today I am sharing a project that I have been so happy to complete. It is called Wreath Swap. It is a series created by Stitching With the Housewives. You can purchase other patterns to swap the 'O' with decorative patterns to suit different occassions. You start with pattern one which is Home is where the wreath is, then build on with the wreath swap patterns.
To finish the cross stitch, I followed the finishing tutorial on the Stitching With the Housewives channel.

Baby Card
Hello everyone! It has been a little while since I have posted. I have been busy and have neglected my blog and social media as a result. I have been creating in the background, but projects that take a bit more time and I will be sharing those soon. But today I am sharing a card that I made for grade partner who had a baby girl a few months ago. Of course I went with the vintage style which I love.
I used Maja Design papers and I used some die cuts to decorate along with some coordinating blooms from my stash. She loved the card and placed it the nursery.
As always, stay safe and well.
